Role Overview

The Transaction Services team is a multi-skilled function supporting asset servicing, cash operations, trade operations, and derivatives. As an Asset Servicing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing lifecycle events, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining strong risk and control standards in a fast-paced environment. The role requires attention to detail, collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process asset servicing events (e.g., corporate actions, income events) accurately and within deadlines.
• Monitor and manage transaction lifecycle activities, ensuring timely completion.
• Investigate and resolve queries, including stock and cash reconciliation breaks.
• Escalate issues based on defined criteria (age, value, client impact, risk).
• Prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Manage client and stakeholder communication with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Ensure adherence to operational controls, procedures, and risk management practices.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc tasks and project work, delivering within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Dealers, Portfolio teams) and external stakeholders.
  
  

Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)

• Experience in Asset Servicing / Transaction Services operations
• Hands-on experience with Aladdin platform
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Understanding of corporate actions lifecycle (mandatory & voluntary events, income processing)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet strict deadlines
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Awareness of operational risk and control frameworks
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

• Knowledge of Derivatives, including collateral management
• Experience in Trade Operations across asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income including ABS/MBS, FX, Money Markets, Repo, Term Deposits)
• Experience in Cash Operations, especially payments processing
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards
• Understanding of end-to-end transaction/asset lifecycle
• Exposure to reconciliation processes and break resolution
• Experience in process improvement or automation initiatives
