The Associate Consultant Ortho Spine is responsible for diagnosing and managing spine-related orthopedic conditions, assisting and independently performing spine surgeries, handling trauma and emergency cases, conducting OPD/IPD care, and supporting multidisciplinary patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with spinal disorders, trauma, deformities, and degenerative conditions.
• Conduct OPD consultations and inpatient rounds.
• Assist in and independently perform spine surgeries/procedures as per competency.
• Handle orthopedic and spine emergencies, including trauma cases.
• Pre-operative assessment and post-operative patient management.
• Coordinate with physiotherapy, anesthesia, radiology, ICU, and nursing teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, discharge summaries, and operative notes.
• Participate in CMEs, audits, case discussions, and research activities.
• Ensure adherence to NABH/hospital protocols and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• MBBS + MS/DNB Orthopedics
• Fellowship in Spine Surgery preferred
• Valid medical registration
• 1–5 years of post-MS/DNB experience preferred
