Job Description

About the Role


We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Head Professional Lighting to drive Project Sales business . The candidate will be responsible for handling Government & Institutional lighting projects, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding the Professional Lighting business in the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate should possess strong exposure in B2G/B2B Project Sales, Government tendering, consultant handling, contractor engagement, and lighting solution selling.


Key Responsibilities


Drive business growth for Professional Lighting Projects across Government, Institutional, Industrial & Commercial segments.

• Handle complete Project Sales cycle including lead generation, specification, tender participation, negotiation & execution.

• Manage relationships with Government departments, Smart City authorities, PWD, Nagar Nigam, EPC contractors, builders & electrical consultants.

• Work closely with Architects, Lighting Consultants, Contractors & Project Specifiers for product approvals and specifications.

• Review BOQs, technical drawings, tender documents & project requirements to propose optimised lighting solutions.

• Conduct site surveys, lux level audits, technical presentations, product demonstrations & customer meetings.

• Coordinate internally with Supply Chain, Commercial & Channel teams for smooth billing, dispatch, stock planning & execution.

• Develop and maintain a strong project pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing & project movement and share regular MIS reports.

• Strengthen dealer/channel engagement for project conversion and secondary sales growth.

• Ensure timely collection, payment follow-up and smooth execution of ongoing projects.
