Students at Alpha do not attend traditional lectures. They advance through adaptive applications at double the speed of conventional classrooms while developing practical life competencies in parallel. Your responsibility is to ensure three commitments are met for every child in your group: they enjoy learning, they progress twice as fast, and they acquire skills beyond what textbooks provide. You will also mentor the Guides who uphold these same commitments throughout your campus.
Every choice is informed by metrics, and every interaction is in person. Your time divides between your own student group and the Guides under your leadership — and the expectation remains constant for both: documented improvement, without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you do not file paperwork; you observe the session, debrief immediately, and resolve it that same afternoon.
You will observe reserved children present with confidence to adults. You will witness students who once "despised school" request to remain after hours. And you will recognize that the standard you maintained is precisely what enabled their growth, because upholding expectations demonstrates your belief in their potential.
You may be establishing a new campus from the ground up and setting the cultural foundation that will shape the school. As the site matures, your role evolves from operational lead to coaching executive, cultivating the team that extends Alpha's approach across your territory.

What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour live workshops in life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) with K-8 students covering subjects such as public speaking and concentration, adhering to Alpha's established framework
- Conducting daily motivational sessions that ensure 100% of students reach their weekly application targets using age-suitable incentives including school currency and performance leaderboards
- Developing Guides through direct observation, focused feedback, and practical coaching so they execute workshops with equivalent energy and accuracy
- Analyzing Coachbot data and student records to determine which individuals require support, then providing that intervention directly
- Guiding your own assigned student cohort personally, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides
- Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum. Students progress via adaptive apps; your focus is elevating the people who support them.
- Delivering lectures before a classroom. You operate as 80% facilitator, 20% content expert; if you prefer standing at a whiteboard, this role is not suitable.
- Compromising standards due to parent or administrative pressure. If a student earns 99%, the response is "not yet" — and you will receive institutional support to maintain that position.
- Remaining in an office managing documentation. The majority of your time is spent directly engaging with students and Guides.
- Awaiting delayed performance reviews. Outcomes are visible in Coachbot in real time and adjustments occur immediately.

Basic Requirements
- Currently residing in or prepared to relocate to Beverly Hills, CA; La Jolla (San Diego), CA; Piedmont, CA; South Bay (LA), CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami Beach, FL; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline (Master's preferred; conventional teaching certifications are not required)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field
- Demonstrated experience designing and executing educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives
- Proven history of managing a team of 5 or more individuals, including recruitment and performance-driven termination decisions
- Background in coaching, mentoring, or delivering constructive feedback to enhance engagement and outcomes
- Direct experience working with children ages 5–14 in educational or developmental contexts
- Capability in leveraging data and performance metrics to inform decisions and foster ongoing improvement
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator where you directly motivated children to achieve quantifiable goals
- History coaching adults in positions where performance was measured and evaluated
- Confidence engaging large groups of children. The type of presence that commands attention in a room full of 8-year-olds.
