Technical Product Manager

A technology-driven Trading firm is investing in the next generation of tools used in fast-paced decision-making environments. They are seeking a Product Manager to help lead the development of applications that serve as the primary interface for Traders to analyze information, make decisions, and take action in real time.

These tools are central to daily operations-not peripheral systems-and must perform with speed, clarity, and reliability. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of domain expertise and engineering, helping to rethink how users interact with complex data and workflows from the ground up.

You will contribute to a broader platform transformation effort, with meaningful ownership, strong visibility, and the opportunity to influence how critical workflows are designed and executed over the long term.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with traders to understand day-to-day workflows, behaviors, and decision-making processes
• Partner with engineering teams to design and enhance responsive, and iterate on high performance GUIs
• Translate user insights and business needs into clear product direction, priorities, and requirements
• Lead initiatives from initial problem definition through delivery, iteration, and adoption
• Continuously refine workflows with a focus on efficiency, usability, and precision
• Identify opportunities to standardize solutions across teams while balancing the need for customization
• Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress effectively across cross-functional stakeholders
• Anticipate dependencies and risks, addressing them proactively
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Background in trading, financial markets, or trading systems is preferred but not required
  
• 
  Experience owning and delivering complex products that are central to users' daily work
• Familiarity with data-intensive or time-sensitive environments is helpful but not required
• Strong understanding of how users interact with tools under pressure and how design impacts outcomes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and understand system-level considerations
• Proven ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous or evolving problem spaces
• Clear and effective communication skills across a range of stakeholders
