Staff Accountant-Denver, CO

$75k-$85k base

Our client, a Denver based tech company is looking to add a Staff Accountant to join their growing Corporate Accounting team. This candidate would be joining a high performing accounting team and given a lot of opportunities to grow within the organization. The organization is looking for driven candidates who thrive in a fast paced environment and are looking to take the next steps in their careers.

Responsibilities for Staff Accountant in Denver, CO:

• Journal entries, GL accounting, review of AP entries and assisting in maintaining and reconciling balance sheets
• Assisting Controller in preparation of financial reports and month end close process
• Support the accounting team and other department personnel with a wide variety of accounting tasks including transactional processing (revenue entries, recording deposits, etc.).

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of professional accounting experience in tech space preferred
• Strong business acumen and GAAP skills
• ERP experience is a plus
