Our client is looking for a Sr PostgreSQL DBA for a full time role that is hybrid 3 days per week in Downtown Chicago
Responsibilities:
- Manage SQL and PostgreSQL database performance and disk usage
- Monitor and tune PostgreSQL databases and database application performance
- Develops maintenance, backup and recovery procedures and documentation
- Assists with the design, implementation, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases
Qualifications:
- 5+yrs with PostgreSQL
- DB2 / Linux are nice to haves
- Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins & CI/CD skills
- bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
