Overview
As a leader within The Marzetti Company’s Supply Chain Team, the Senior Customer Supply Chain Manager is accountable for delivering proactive, end-to-end customer supply chain solutions that advance service excellence, reduce cost-to-serve, and strengthen collaborative partnerships with our customers. This role translates vision into action by designing breakthrough strategies that align with Marzetti’s mission to drive growth, value, and customer service excellence across the supply chain.
The Senior Manager builds enduring customer relationships, develops and empowers a team of Customer Supply Chain Managers, and represents supply chain expertise to Sales and cross-functional leadership. The role requires balancing customer needs, operational excellence, and financial performance while creating an environment where innovation, diverse perspectives, and continuous improvement thrive.

Responsibilities
- Team Development : Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Supply Chain Managers; establish processes and measures to track results and support career growth.
- Customer Solutions Leadership : Deliver proactive supply chain solutions through robust customer sensing capabilities and collaboratively managed project action plans.
- Service Excellence : Identify and achieve service excellence as defined by customers, ensuring alignment on metrics such as order fill, on-time delivery, invoice accuracy, and case fill.
- Strategic Alignment : Provide supply chain expertise and insights to the Sales team; design solutions that balance cost and service while enabling sales growth.
- Innovation & Improvement : Encourage diverse thinking to promote innovation; analyze opportunities, develop recommendations, and implement process improvements that deliver results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Drive partnerships with planning, business operations, transportation, distribution, and customers to create mutually beneficial end-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Decision-Making & Problem Solving : Apply structured decision-making principles to complex challenges; guide others in addressing issues without clear solutions.
- Contingency Planning : Anticipate risks, stage activities with milestones, and implement effective contingency plans.
- Accountability : Demonstrate ownership of subject areas, communicate lessons learned from successes and failures, and instill processes for measuring team outcomes.
- Change Leadership : Champion ideas and solutions despite dissent or political risk, modeling courage and consistency between words and actions.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Customer Operation
- Demonstrated success managing a team of managers
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional supply chain challenges and delivering measurable business results.
- Experience with service-related KPIs, metrics, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SAP Order to Cash Process strongly preferred.
- Broad end-to-end supply chain expertise across the full order-to-cash cycle
- Customer-facing experience leading supply chain initiatives with key accounts
