Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal HVAC Superintendent or Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC projects across the Houston area. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, managing crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial HVAC sheet metal projects
- Manage crews, subcontractors, and project schedules across multiple job sites
- Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Review blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Track project progress, budgets, and material requirements
- Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control standards
- Communicate project updates, delays, and progress to leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sheet metal (Superintendent or Project Manager level)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA certification(s)
- Experience in commercial construction environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
