We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in construction to oversee projects within the commercial and municipal construction industry. This role is based in Indianapolis and offers an opportunity to lead and manage diverse construction initiatives.

Our client is a leading general contractor and development firm based in Indiana specializing in large commercial and municipal projects. With a strong track record of successful developments and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, we are looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the city's residential landscape while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Description

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial and municipal building and construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality work and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
  • Review and approve project designs, plans, and permits to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during construction, providing timely solutions.
  • Ensure all safety standards and regulations are strictly followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Profile

  • Experience running multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with estimating specifically for hard bids.
  • Experience running projects from ground up ($10M+).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
