We are looking for a talented Senior Purcurement Buyer to join our team at Atmus Filtration Technologies.
Location: KY, Louisville- Onsite
Travel: Less than 10%

Develops and executes buying strategies in accordance with agreed upon goods and services plans at the optimum cost, quality and delivery. Identifies and implements projects to achieve material cost reduction and process improvement while maintaining high quality product and service delivery.
Responsibilities
Procurement of services, inventory items, supplies, and capital goods.
Analyzes complex sourcing and purchasing initiatives and processes in support of the delivery of cost effective and high-quality goods and services.
Manages regional commodities aligned to global category structure.
Prepares and presents recommendations of improvement opportunities and alternative courses of action to senior buying/sourcing leadership.
Executes activities in alignment with global procedures and processes.
Evaluates consistent application of buying/sourcing procedures and processes.
Supports buying/sourcing management in activities such as price benchmarking, vendor management, industry and market analysis, process analysis, and model building.
Leads analysis projects/initiatives providing coaching to less experienced team members.
Negotiates within the pre-approved alternative language framework.
Develops and manages effective relationships with suppliers aligned to Category Partner Lists.
Facilitates Purchase Requisition approvals.
Executes Tactical Sourcing, RapidSources and eBids within a country or countries within the region to ensure cost competitiveness.
Qualifications

- Prior experience with material cost take out (MCTO) strategies (reverse auctions, negotiation, make vs. buy) to achieve YoY cost reduction goals
College, university, or equivalent degree in supply chain management or a related subject required plus 5 years of experience; This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Base salary range: $102,000 to $113,000/year.
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
