We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to drive high-impact forecasting and predictive modeling initiatives within a data-rich retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large-scale datasets, building production-ready machine learning models, and influencing business decisions through advanced analytics.

You’ll partner closely with data engineering and business teams to design and deploy scalable solutions that improve forecasting accuracy and operational performance.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize time series forecasting models
• Develop machine learning algorithms for prediction, classification, and regression
• Work with large datasets using Python and PySpark
• Collaborate with data engineers to productionize models and pipelines
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows
• Translate business problems into scalable data science solutions

What You Bring

• Strong experience with time series forecasting and predictive modeling
• Expertise in Python (PySpark preferred)
• Experience with classification and regression models
• Ability to code in at least one JVM language (Java, Scala, etc.)
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets and distributed systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks
• Exposure to Azure Cloud (Data Lake, Data Factory)
• Background in retail or consumer-focused industries
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL, pipelines, data architecture)
