LHH is currently looking to fill a Senior Cost Accountant role. This is a long-standing client in the manufacturing industry. Great management and team in accounting!

This will be a hybrid role, working onsite 2-3 days/week, and the individual has the opportunity to chose days.

Overview -

• Work directly under the Cost Manager; company has three state locations
• This role will help mentor, and supervise work, for Plant Cost Accountant at each other state
• Cost analysis of manufacturing costs & operations (labor and equipment utilization), assist Operations Management with cost related reports and analysis
• Oversee GL for the corporate side; review GL for other two states for accuracy
• Assist with preparing financial statements and reports
• Will have some travel, per year, to other two state locations

Qualifications -

• Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or related
• CPA/CMA a plus
• 8+ years of cost accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Larger ERP experience
• Able to get involved with people, able to interact with others and ask questions to be more self-motivated; good problem solving skills to find answers, Cost Manager is always there but wants someone self-motivated before just coming and asking questions (expect when needed)

Salary = $100k - $115k base DOE
