Job Description
- Prepare and analyze commercial credit submissions for prospective and existing clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal credit policies
- Conduct financial analysis and spreading of financial statements, tax returns, debt reports and related documents/disclosures to assess creditworthiness and cash-flow sustainability
- Independently underwrite and approve transactions within assigned authority limits
- Communicate credit decisions clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders, balancing risk discipline with commercial objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit processes, documentation standards, and turnaround times
- Support audits, portfolio reviews, and internal reporting as required
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or underwriting
- Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, cash-flow lending concepts, and credit risk fundamentals
- Experience in equipment finance, leasing, or asset-based lending
