LHH is partnered with a mid-size, growing healthcare company to add a newly created Senior Accountant to their team. This role was designed proactively to support continued growth while preserving strong work-life balance. Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, and maintaining an accurate, GAAP-compliant general ledger

• Review and analyze financial results, identifying trends and variances, and deliver consolidated financial reporting with clear insights for management

• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, including oversight of fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring issues are identified and resolved timely

• Help maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring compliance and the integrity of financial reporting

• Partner with cross-functional teams and provide support on bank reconciliations and other close-related activities to meet deadlines

• Research technical accounting matters, contribute to process improvements and automation efforts, and participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• 3+ years of accounting or external audit experience

• Healthcare experience required
