LHH (Atlanta) is working with a well-known, fast-growing company in the consumer services space on a search for a Senior Accountant. This is a great opportunity for CPAs who are either looking to transition out of public accounting or move from another industry role into a fully remote environment, while still being part of a large, established organization with strong growth opportunities.


This role will operate as a Lead Senior on the team, playing a key role in mentoring and supporting Staff Accountants while partnering closely with leadership across accounting and finance. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys helping others develop, and wants to take on a visible role within a growing organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis in accordance with GAAP
  • Review work prepared by Staff Accountants and provide guidance and mentorship to support development
  • Analyze financial results and identify trends, variances, and process improvements
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and strong internal controls
  • Assist with audit support, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of supporting schedules
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to help streamline accounting operations and reporting


Requirements

  • CPA required
  • 3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally from a top public accounting firm
  • Financial services industry preferred (insurance would be ideal)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven collaborator and team player
  • Desire or experience mentoring and managing team members
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship


Compensation / Benefits

  • Fully Remote
  • $100,000 – $110,000 base salary + bonus
