LHH is partnering with a healthcare organization on a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting search. This company offers strong upward mobility, a collaborative team environment, and a comprehensive benefits package. The role combines month-end close responsibilities with financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead key components of the month-end close, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple areas

• Review staff accountant work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards

• Maintain organized, GAAP-compliant financial records and support internal control processes

• Partner with operations to analyze financial results, explain variances, and support decision-making

• Contribute to team development, new entity onboarding, and process improvement and automation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

• 2+ years of accounting or external audit experience required

• Financial reporting experience is required

• Healthcare experience strongly preferred

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
