Role/Responsibilities:


Role Summary:


The candidate will support and enhance FMC’s global SAP S/4HANA Finance processes in a compliance-sensitive environment. Own critical finance incidents, support period close, and deliver enhancements across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash finance touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work within ITSM processes for Incident, Service Request, Problem and Change Management; ensure SLA adherence.
  • Provide regular and accurate ticket updates, technical/functional notes, and closure documentation; create/maintain knowledge articles.
  • Drive problem management through root cause analysis (RCA), trend analysis, and preventive actions to reduce repeat incidents.
  • Support continuous improvement and minor enhancements; prepare Functional Specifications (FS) / technical notes and coordinate build/test/deploy.
  • •Coordinate cross-module and cross-application dependencies; communicate clearly with business stakeholders across global time zones.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for FI/CO including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting and month-end close activities.
  • Support multi-country, multi-currency operations including valuation, translation, and FX-related postings; troubleshoot posting and reconciliation issues.
  • Support intercompany accounting, eliminations/reconciliations, and end-to-end integration with SD billing and MM procurement/inventory valuation.
  • Support revenue recognition and financial controls; assist internal/external audits and ensure audit-ready documentation and evidence.
  • Partner with business finance leads to gather requirements, define FS, validate solutions, and run UAT support.


Qualifications:


  • Strong SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO (CCA/PCA), document splitting (as applicable), and closing cockpit/processes.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of account determination, posting logic, and FI integration points with MM (GR/IR, inventory valuation) and SD (billing, revenue postings).
  • Intercompany processing knowledge (cross-company postings, IC reconciliations) and multi-currency valuations.
  • Understanding of compliance controls (SOX), audit support and segregation-of-duties concepts.
  • Strong documentation skills: FS, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge articles.
  • Tools / Technology
  • ITSM tool (ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy or equivalent), SAP support tools, debugging/trace basics for issue analysis.
  • SAP Fiori apps for finance (My Inbox, GL line item, manage journal entries, etc.) and basic authorization concepts.
  • Good to Have
  • Process industry exposure (chemicals/agri/pharma), product costing/actual costing exposure, and Blackline integration awareness.



Pay and Benefits:


Pay Range Minimum: $90,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $150,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits:


A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
