We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven SAP FICO Analyst to support and enhance our cost accounting function. This role will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the costing components within SAP, ensuring accurate product costing, margin visibility, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions that drive operational and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support SAP FICO modules with a strong emphasis on the costing modules
  • Partner with Cost Accounting and Operations teams to define, maintain, and improve costing structures, including standard costs, BOMs, and routings
  • Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis, settlement processes, and inventory valuation
  • Analyze costing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for margin improvement
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost-related master data within SAP (materials, work centers, cost centers, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAP to streamline costing processes and reporting
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations related to SAP FICO
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable SAP solutions
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs related to cost accounting and financial performance
  • Provide end-user support and training for finance and operations teams


Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong focus on cost accounting / product costing
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration in CO modules
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing costing concepts (standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Proven ability to partner with finance and operational stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
