- Serve as the primary liaison with Avalara, overseeing data accuracy and issue resolution
- Coordinate approvals and documentation related to sales tax filings and compliance
- Support resolution of potential tax liabilities and refund scenarios as identified
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with multi‑state sales tax compliance
- Strong knowledge of sales tax nexus determinations and state registrations
- Experience preparing and managing sales tax filings and exemption certificates
- Avalara experience is preferred not required with the ability to lead and troubleshoot independently
- CPA preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex compliance projects
- Available to complete this interim assignment anticipated to last 6-12mos.
