Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate is passionate about pets, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate the competitive advantages of our pet insurance offerings and maintain a deep understanding of industry products.
- Convert prospects into loyal clients while providing exceptional customer service.
- Record prospect and client information accurately in CRM systems.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with partner location personnel to achieve performance goals.
- Assess partner needs and identify opportunities for new business.
- Collaborate with team leadership to enhance sales strategies and share successes.
- Attend virtual and in-person company meetings as required.
- Manage administrative tasks, expense reporting, and partnership responsibilities efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license or willingness to obtain within 30 days (as required by state law).
- 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing or animal care role.
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills with a consultative approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage peak hours (Friday-Sunday).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel to industry events as needed.
- Positive attitude, action-oriented, and results-driven.
