Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate is passionate about pets, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the competitive advantages of our pet insurance offerings and maintain a deep understanding of industry products.
  • Convert prospects into loyal clients while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Record prospect and client information accurately in CRM systems.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with partner location personnel to achieve performance goals.
  • Assess partner needs and identify opportunities for new business.
  • Collaborate with team leadership to enhance sales strategies and share successes.
  • Attend virtual and in-person company meetings as required.
  • Manage administrative tasks, expense reporting, and partnership responsibilities efficiently.


Qualifications:

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license or willingness to obtain within 30 days (as required by state law).
  • 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing or animal care role.
  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage peak hours (Friday-Sunday).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events as needed.
  • Positive attitude, action-oriented, and results-driven.
