Sr. Litigation Support is responsible for providing legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations and privileges of the organization. This role represents the organization to customers, suppliers, competitors and government agencies. Sr. Litigation Support also provides resolution of business or technical issues by identifying legal solutions and recommending a course of action and examines legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze consumer litigation matters
- Provide research and aid in the development of a legal defense
- *Process domestically issued subpoenas
- Process incoming litigation cases
- Attend small claims and settlement conferences (nationally) representing the company's interests.
- Serve as a witness in depositions
What experience you need:
- Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and training
- 2 years of experience in the area of specialization - FCRA/ Equifax policy and procedures and customer service
- Excellent word processing and computer skills including internet research and document scanning
- The job requires more than 25% cross country travel to defend Equifax by making appearances in small claim & mediation matters
- Firm knowledge of processes in FACT, OAD and Salesforce
