LHH is currently seeking a Property Accountant to manage accounting duties for multiple properties with one of our Commercial Real Estate clients in Houston, TX. The Property Accountant will be responsible for performing daily property accounting duties for assignment properties. Specific job duties for this position include:

• Manage monthly financial reporting for multiple properties
• Review and maintain general ledger
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, and property accruals
• Oversee accounts payable process, and make sure bills are paid on time
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor property bank account cash balances
• Prepare financial reports including monthly variance analysis

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field
• 2+ years of commercial real estate property accounting experience
• Ability to manage monthly financial reporting for multiple properties
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, and Excel, along with Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks, and Expensify
