Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing activities and establishing guidelines and controls for the Houston facility.
Support and promote continuous improvement of performance standards by supporting the Management Team’s initiatives that help drive change.
Support and enforce HSE standards and a commitment to compliance.
Manage the plant’s production units.
Provide leadership and fill in for Production Supervisor.
Contribute to Turnarounds, shutdowns and maintenance planning.
Ensure the maintenance and recordkeeping of Process Safety Management documentation.
Manage fixed costs in area of responsibility.
Maximize burning rate and unit efficiency.
Support company’s the HSE program by utilizing KPIs, performance standards, Stop Work Policy, Zero Tolerance, and HSE Excellence.
Ensure regulatory requirements are met for all production and operations teams.
Ability to work additional hours to accomplish objectives and ensure high performance of the plant.
efficiency, cost control, and operational viability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7-10 years of continuous chemical plat experience, (union experience a plus)
Requires strong leadership and management skills.
Production knowledge required.
Must be able to troubleshoot problems in a production/operations environment.
TWIC card required.
