• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in technical program management.
• 5 years of experience managing a team of technical program managers.

• Experience managing a distributed team responsible for the implementation of a global standardized program.
• Track record of establishing and overseeing the integration of critical systems and maintenance standards, to include spare parts strategies.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The Google Data Centers team (GDC) designs, builds and operates many gigawatts of reliable, efficient, flexible data centers around the world. Our data centers are the foundation of all Google services and infrastructure, from classic servers and networking to bespoke storage and advanced AI hardware.

Google's Data Center Operations (DCOps) team acts as the stewards of the physical infrastructure that powers the world’s information. We operate the mechanical, electrical, and control systems that keep our servers running 24/7/365. Data Center Central Operations is the global operational governance, engineering support, and business operations team, supporting efficient growth and operation of Google’s data center fleet.

As the Production Planning and Change Governance Lead, you will lead a team of process and planning experts responsible for the coordination and implementation of the global maintenance planning process, maintenance standard implementation, decision framework, and global production planning prioritization for partner team overlaps.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $240000 - $334000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Be a highly credible thought leader within Google and industry on the subject matter domain of the respective organization.
• Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
• Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.
• Lead strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.
