Contract to Hire, 12-month contract

Pay rate: $68.00 to $70.00 per hour on a W2

Job responsibilities:

  • Guide teams in adopting and implementing Agile methodologies, fostering open communication, engagement, and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement short to mid-term operational and transformation plans, utilizing project task estimation, resource scheduling, and work breakdown structures to achieve product goals efficiently.
  • Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders, including executive communications for senior management, and communicate organizational impediments to leadership.
  • Anticipate potential problems, establish mitigation strategies, and manage risks and issues throughout the project/program lifecycle.
  • Oversee budget and financial management, including business case completion and benefits realization.
  • Identify trends, generate original ideas, and contribute to the development of new policies and best practices within the discipline.
  • Apply expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methods, including critical path method, to ensure effective project delivery and adaptability.
  • Utilize metrics and evidence-based decision-making to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and monitor progress.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Agile coaching and project management, with a proven track record of guiding Products at scale.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and best practices, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and scaling frameworks.
  • Proficient in project estimation, resource scheduling, work breakdown structures, critical path method, and benefits management.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate problems and establish effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in budget and financial management, including business case development and benefits realization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and guide stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Advanced facilitation and presentation skills for managing group discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Ability to identify trends, contribute original ideas, and drive the development of new policies and best practices.
  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence
