Take2 is hiring a clearable OCI Cloud System Engineer. This role requires you to be eligible to be sponsored for a Secret Clearance to interview. This position is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week onsite in Boston, MA.

About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level OCI Cloud Systems Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable cloud environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This hands-on role is ideal for early-career technologists eager to build cloud-native solutions, automate infrastructure, and contribute within a DevSecOps environment supporting customer missions.


You will collaborate with engineers, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud platforms while developing practical experience with modern cloud technologies and automation tools.


What You’ll Do

  • Configure, integrate, and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
  • Develop, test, and maintain automated cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Collaborate with development, operations, security, and product teams.
  • Support DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Integrate cloud platforms with identity and access management (IAM) solutions and security monitoring tools.
  • Assist with customer onboarding and cloud adoption initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud environments and operational processes.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Eligible to be sponsored for a Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to meet IAT Level II requirements and obtain one or more cloud certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) fundamentals, including:
  • Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs)
  • Subnets and route tables
  • NAT Gateways
  • Compute/virtual machines
  • Load balancers
  • Network Security Groups
  • Experience or familiarity with scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset and comfort working in customer-facing environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to tools such as:
  • Terraform, Ansible
  • Kubernetes
  • GitLab CI/CD
  • Jira, Confluence, Artifactory
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and monitoring practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments.
  • Interest in building scalable, reusable cloud infrastructure.
