About the Role

The M&A Analyst plays a critical role in BroadStreet's growth strategy, supporting the evaluation, execution, and integration of acquisition opportunities. This position offers direct exposure to the full deal lifecycle, from initial target identification through post-close integration, working closely with senior leadership, Core Agency Partners, and external advisors.

How You’ll Add Value

Financial Analysis & Modeling

  • Develop pro forma income statements using historical financial data from acquisition targets
  • Build and maintain financial models to determine valuations and assess returns on potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships
  • Apply valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions

Deal Execution & Due Diligence

  • Support comprehensive financial, operational, and commercial due diligence for potential acquisitions
  • Coordinate data requests, track diligence materials, and monitor project timelines
  • Partner with internal teams (legal, accounting, operations) and external advisors to identify risks and opportunities
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination through diligence and post-close integration activities

Research & Strategy

  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition targets
  • Monitor transaction announcements and industry developments to inform M&A strategy
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts

Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for senior leadership, executive teams, and board meetings
  • Track performance of existing acquisitions, investments, and partnerships
  • Manage the M&A pipeline and deliver regular updates to internal stakeholders


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, transaction services, or strategic finance
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building presentation materials in PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with the M&A deal process from sourcing through closing
