Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Compensation: $100,000 - $132,000 + Benefits

A growing mechanical construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from estimating and proposal development through construction completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop project estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.
• Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, vendors, and project schedules.
• Manage billing, change orders, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Lead client meetings and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, accounting, and construction teams.
• Monitor project performance to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved.
• Support business development efforts and help grow existing customer relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience within HVAC, plumbing, mechanical construction, or process piping.
• Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and project financial management.
• Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
