Role Description The Membership Consultant (Healthcare Sales) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for educating prospective members and their caregivers about ArchWell Health’s care model, services, and benefits, with a focus on older adult populations. Day-to-day, the Membership Consultant conducts outreach in the community, builds relationships with referral partners, and manages inbound inquiries from interested prospects. The role includes hosting or attending community events, giving presentations, and scheduling and leading center tours to support membership growth. The Membership Consultant also tracks leads and activities using designated systems, follows up consistently, and collaborates with clinical and operational teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in healthcare sales, membership growth, or similar consultative sales roles, preferably serving older adults.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills, with the ability to explain healthcare services clearly and compassionately.
  • Customer service and relationship-building skills to engage prospective members, caregivers, and community partners.
  • Comfort with community outreach, event participation, and working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM or lead-tracking tools, email, and standard office software.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, including some local travel for events and partner visits.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in primary care, Medicare Advantage, senior living, or related healthcare settings is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
