Litigation Secretary / Paralegal

📍 Downtown Houston, TX

🕒 Full-Time | On-Site (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

A well-established corporate litigation firm in downtown Houston is seeking an experienced


Litigation Secretary / Paralegal to join its collaborative legal team. This is a direct-hire, in-office opportunity offering long-term stability, strong benefits, and the ability to work alongside a highly respected group of attorneys.

This role is ideal for a seasoned litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong technical expertise, and can contribute with minimal ramp-up time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to 3–4 attorneys within an active litigation group
  • Draft, prepare, and finalize pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Handle state and federal e-filing processes
  • Maintain and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and case tracking
  • Accurately track and bill both personal and attorney time
  • Assist with case management and contribute to overall team efficiency


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in general civil or corporate litigation
  • Demonstrated career stability and professional longevity
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a litigation setting
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal e-filing procedures
  • Corporate or complex litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Background in personal injury law is not aligned with this role
  • Comfortable operating as a career litigation legal assistant or paralegal
  • Able to step in and add value with minimal training


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 DOE (based on experience and skill set)
