Job Summary

The End User Computing (EUC) Level 1 technician is responsible for providing first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and IT-related issues. The role includes troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network connectivity issues while ensuring smooth IT operations for users.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide Level 1 technical support for end users via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and basic applications.
  • Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and access issues.
  • Support Microsoft Office / O365 applications and email troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Install and configure software applications and security updates.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 or specialized IT teams.
  • Provide on-site or remote support to ensure minimal downtime for users.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
  • Understanding of Active Directory (basic user management)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Office 365
  • Basic network troubleshooting knowledge
  • Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) is a plus
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
