Summary

We are seeking an Intern/Aide for our Division of Neuroscience. The intern will receive training in experimental design, technical skills including antibody purification, immunostaining, microscopy, immunoblotting.

The educational objectives of the internship include the following:

  • Develop ability to design and critically evaluate experiments.
  • Develop competency with several laboratory techniques.
  • Learn how laboratory teams work together.

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.

Job Duties

  • Performs entry level administrative or laboratory duties.
  • May observe tasks related to field of study or career interest.
  • May assists with special projects/programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.

Work Authorization Requirement:

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
