Job Description

Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a highly qualified associate to join its Government Contracts practice group working from our Denver office.


Candidates must have a 3 -5 years of experience in counseling clients on government cybersecurity matters.

Key Responsibilities Includes:

  • Provide expert advice and counsel to clients on government cybersecurity requirements and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and policies for government contracts, leveraging a background in computer science and/or auditing.
  • Conduct thorough audits and assessments to ensure client compliance with government cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity challenges and enhance client security posture.
  • Prepare and present reports and documentation related to cybersecurity compliance and audits.
  • Certifications such as CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), Certified Cybersecurity Practitioner (CCP), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are preferred.


All candidates should have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed analytical, communication and writing skills. Candidates must be a member of the Colorado Bar or eligible for admission by waiver.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance to applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $320,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
