Controller

Location: Pasadena, TX

Overview:

PE-backed, high-growth company in Pasadena is seeking a Controller to support rapid expansion, including multiple acquisitions. This role partners closely with the CFO and an Operations Controller, with strong exposure to leadership and opportunity to build scalable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close and consolidated reporting (8 entities)
• Manage audit process, including PBCs and auditor coordination
• Support M&A accounting and integration of acquired entities
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strengthen internal processes
• Help scale the accounting function in a high-growth environment

Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of experience (public accounting preferred)
• Strong technical accounting and audit experience
• Experience with consolidations and multi-entity structures
• Background in high-growth or PE-backed environments
• Experience with acquisitions and system/process integration
• Leadership experience or ability to grow into managing a team
