A well-established company in Vernon Hills is looking for a Finance Manager to support financial reporting, P&L review, and broader finance operations across multiple business units. The role is tied to financial statement preparation, performance analysis, budgeting support, and ongoing work with senior leadership on business and operational decisions.
Compensation:
Competitive, annual salary of $140K - $170K base + discretionary bonus + full benefits package (M/D/V/401k/PTO)
Key Responsibilities
• Review monthly financial results, identify key changes, and help validate business performance trends across operating units
• Support preparation of financial statements, executive reporting, and other finance deliverables for leadership review
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, business plans, and analysis tied to cash flow and operating performance
• Provide analysis tied to capital spending, pricing, contracts, and other business decisions
• Partner with senior leaders on non-routine transactions, reporting issues, and finance-related problem solving
• Support process improvement, cross-functional projects, and ad hoc finance work as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate finance/accounting
• Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting background is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L review, and analytical finance work
• Manufacturing exposure is a plus
• Advanced Excel and strong communication skills required
