Alpha students complete their academic learning in two hours daily using self-directed AI-powered applications. There are no teachers, no lectures, and no classroom subject instruction. This structure allows you to focus on work that genuinely shifts student outcomes: facilitating high-impact workshops on public speaking, concentration, and feedback culture; using live analytics to motivate students toward complete goal attainment; and developing the Guides who support your mission.
A typical morning might begin with coaching a Guide one-on-one, analyzing performance data to pinpoint where a cohort is underperforming. By midday, you're delivering a structured workshop to students—executing a playbook exercise on feedback exchange. Your afternoons transition to motivation work: engaging individual students, uncovering their intrinsic drivers, and applying Alpha's incentive framework to re-engage a reluctant middle schooler. You directly manage your own cohort, ensuring you maintain the same competencies you're developing in others.
You've likely been the outlier in traditional education: overly analytical, excessively focused on outcomes, too comfortable challenging conventional approaches to student development. Alpha may be the first environment that truly aligns. You'll begin coaching other Guides immediately, and as you produce measurable results across cohorts, your authority over campus-wide program standards expands.
Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating hour-long structured workshops on life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for K-8 cohorts, executing Alpha's established playbook with precision rather than personal interpretation
- Conducting motivation sessions leveraging student data and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort
- Developing Guides on program adherence and standards enforcement, ensuring each coaching interaction yields specific, actionable improvements
- Managing your own student cohort while simultaneously cultivating Guide competency
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal achievement rates, and Guide performance indicators on a weekly basis to identify deterioration before it escalates
- Delivering academic instruction or tutoring on subject matter. Academic learning happens through independent app-based work without direct adult supervision.
- Creating new curriculum or developing original lesson content. The playbook is established; success depends on execution fidelity, not creative variation.
- Training Guides on instructional pedagogy. Since Guides don't teach content, your coaching centers on energy management, student motivation, and accountability systems.
- Accepting 99% as passing when the standard is 100%. Maintaining the boundary demonstrates your confidence in their capability to reach it.
- Serving as the default emotional support figure. Students receive meaningful connection here, alongside direct feedback and genuine accountability.
Execute Alpha's three core commitments for every student in your cohort: they develop genuine enthusiasm for school, accelerate their learning to twice the pace of conventional classrooms, and acquire substantive life competencies.

- Hands-on experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or developmental contexts

About The Company
Crossover
Crossover is a global recruitment company, founded in 2014. We're the world's largest recruiter that specializes in elite full-time remote jobs, hiring the top 1% of tech talent from every corner of the planet. We find awesome talent in overlooked places, by posting jobs all over the world, and giving everyone an equal opportunity to prove their skills are world-class. Our system of AI-powered assessments is based on objective factors that are scientifically proven to predict high performance (e.g. cognitive aptitude). Allow us to clarify some common misconceptions: 1) The reason we post so many job ads is because LinkedIn organizes all job postings by location. So, the only way to reach candidates all over the world is to post multiple ads in every city you want to hire from. Most recruiters don't bother because it's too time consuming... but we're not most recruiters. 2) We mostly recruit independent contractors, not employees, because labor laws vary so much from one country to another that it's near-impossible to recruit globally otherwise (which is why it's still uncommon even though most jobs can now be done remotely). 3) As is standard for any self-employed person, the stated pay is the entire compensation package. Because they are not employees, each contractor is responsible for handling the things that an employer would take care of e.g. taxes, equipment, vacation time, health insurance. One of the major reasons that Crossover jobs pay so much more than local jobs is to overcompensate for these costs. It's hard, but it's worth it!
