A newly formed, well‑funded B2B industrial technology company is hiring a Director of Web & Digital Marketing to build its digital engine from the ground up.



About the Role



This is a foundational leadership role for someone who thrives in “build mode” — architecting systems, making greenfield decisions, and owning execution before scaling into orchestration.



Responsibilities



  • Web & digital experience
  • Own an enterprise B2B website built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Governance, SEO, GEO/AEO, accessibility, privacy, and performance
  • Marketing automation & martech
  • Lead selection and implementation of a marketing automation platform
  • Own integrations across CRM, intent data, and analytics
  • Account‑Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Define and operationalize ABM strategy and tooling (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, or similar)
  • Social media
  • Own organic and paid social strategy for a technical, industrial B2B audience
  • Measurement & optimization
  • Define KPIs across web, automation, ABM, and social with a focus on pipeline impact



This role starts hands‑on and evolves into leadership as the foundation is established.



Qualifications



  • 8–12 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in enterprise or complex technology environments
  • Hands‑on experience owning a website on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Experience selecting or implementing a marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ABM strategy and platforms
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zero
  • Strong analytical instincts and a bias toward action
  • Industrial, manufacturing, or OT/IIoT experience is a plus — not a requirement



Location



  • Boston area strongly preferred (hybrid)
  • Open to remote candidates with strong EST overlap
