This is a senior leadership role within a vertically integrated platform with an expanding industrial portfolio. The position offers direct interaction with executive leadership and the opportunity to build and institutionalize the property management function within a high-growth development business.
The Opportunity
The Director of Industrial Property Management will lead all operational and financial performance across the industrial portfolio. This individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day property operations, driving asset-level performance, managing tenant relationships, and implementing scalable systems and controls, with Yardi serving as the core operating platform.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who combines operational rigor with a strategic mindset and is comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of industrial property management operations across the portfolio
- Oversee operating budgets, forecasting, CAM reconciliations, rent collections, and financial reporting
- Manage and optimize Yardi (including lease administration, reporting, and accounting functions)
- Supervise property management staff and third-party vendors to ensure operational excellence
- Partner with development, asset management, and leasing teams on tenant onboarding, transitions, and stabilization
- Drive tenant retention through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Establish and refine operational processes, controls, and reporting standards
- Provide portfolio-level performance analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of industrial property management experience with leadership responsibility
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and CAM management
- Deep working knowledge of Yardi (Voyager preferred)
- Experience working within a developer or owner-operator platform preferred
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a lean environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to build systems and take ownership
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
