Job Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean for network Growth, the Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Development provides strategic and visionary leadership and administrative oversight of professional programs and continuing education for Miami and the Southeast corridor and in support of programs across Bouvé College of Health Sciences. This role is responsible for creating, expanding, managing, and implementing a diverse portfolio of professional education programs, products, and services that enhance the college's lifelong learning offerings in continuing education (CE), continuing medical education (CME), and workforce development. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of joint accreditation processes.
Working collaboratively across all programs and faculty within Bouvé College, the Director builds collaborative partnerships across multiple schools and disciplines to create a unified, high-impact portfolio of professional development programs. The Director builds and sustains networks with individuals and organizations across health professions education, including global education partners, to develop and deliver innovative, responsive programming that addresses the evolving needs of healthcare professionals.
The Director develops and promotes marketing initiatives through strategic public relations, community outreach and works in concert with the Director of Strategic Growth and Collaboration in Miami and the Assistant Dean for Partnerships and clinical affairs to strategize on developmental areas. This work will support the growth of the department and specific programs within a self-supporting financial model. This includes building strong community relationships to promote programs, assessing future training needs, and ensuring alignment with workforce demands.
The position demands exceptional ability to lead interdisciplinary groups, convene diverse stakeholders, and build consensus across departments to achieve mutually agreed upon goals and objectives that advance Bouvé College's mission of providing excellence in health sciences education throughout the professional lifespan.

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
