What We Need
We are seeking a high-impact Director of Channel Sales to lead and scale our distribution footprint across the Electronics and Electrical markets. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing a team of Channel Managers who serve as the primary link between our brand and our most critical partners.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned strategist with a deep understanding of multi-channel distribution. You aren't just managing accounts; you are building a high-performance ecosystem. You will be responsible for the "big picture" strategy—aligning channel activities with corporate revenue goals while coaching your team to drive partner loyalty and operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Channel Managers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to exceed their individual and regional targets.
- Channel Strategy & Expansion: Design and execute the overarching channel roadmap. Identify untapped opportunities in the Electrical and Electronics sectors and lead the onboarding of new high-value distributors.
- High-Level Contract Negotiation: Act as the subject matter expert for complex enterprise-level agreements. Lead high-stakes negotiations and program updates to ensure favorable terms and long-term profitability.
- Executive Transparency: Serve as the voice of the Channel. Regularly present performance metrics, pipeline health, and market outlooks to the executive leadership team.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Product Management, Sales, Finance, HR and Marketing to ensure our product launches are synchronized with channel readiness and that we maintain a top position within partner portfolios.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- 10+ years in Channel Sales/Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in the Electronics and/or Electrical
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Strategic Skills: Advanced proficiency in contract negotiation and P&L management.
- Travel Willingness to travel [50%] to visit key partners and regional offices.
