Job Title: Data Quality Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to support data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across healthcare systems. This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and resolving data discrepancies within electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with clinical and billing standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience working with healthcare data, and a solid understanding of clinical workflows.


Key Responsibilities

Data Validation & Correction

  • Perform data validation and correction using SQL queries and reporting tools
  • Identify and resolve data entry discrepancies related to patient and administrative records
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy of insurance, benefits, and patient status data
  • Investigate incomplete or inconsistent records and implement corrective actions

Clinical Data Integrity

  • Analyze healthcare service records for completeness, accuracy, and billing compliance
  • Identify missing or inconsistent clinical data elements and resolve gaps
  • Ensure proper mapping between services, diagnoses, and billing codes
  • Document current data entry practices and support the creation of standardized processes (SOPs)

Data Quality Audits

  • Perform regular audits to detect issues such as missing records, incorrect entries, and compliance gaps
  • Ensure data aligns with regulatory and billing requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and workflow efficiency

Duplicate Record Management

  • Identify and resolve duplicate records within the system
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across all patient data records
  • Ensure reliable data for reporting, analytics, and billing purposes


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with SQL for data analysis and validation
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare data processes
  • Knowledge of medical billing concepts, coding, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare data quality or data governance roles
  • Familiarity with data auditing and reporting tools
  • Experience creating or documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
