We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong background in construction to oversee projects within the municipal and K-12 construction industry. This role is based in Indianapolis and offers an opportunity to lead and manage diverse construction initiatives.

Description

• Lead and manage multiple building and construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality work and compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
• Review and approve project designs, plans, and permits to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during construction, providing timely solutions.
• Ensure all safety standards and regulations are strictly followed throughout the project life cycle.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Profile

• Preference for 5-7 years of experience as a project manager with a diverse range of projects.
• BS degree highly desirable in construction management or similar.
• Experience running multiple projects at once.
• Experience with estimating specifically for hard bids is a plus but not required.
• Experience running projects from ground up ($10M+).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in project management software such as Project or Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Pre-construction knowledge.
• Design build experience is a plus.
