Overview

To be the subject matter expert on the producer contracting and appointment process. To administer new and active producer contract-related functions, including contracting new producers and, if applicable, their IMO affiliation. Ensure that we do this in accordance with the respective state insurance guidelines. Maintain all producer and/or agency files with accurate information as to current and historic license information specific to those appointments. To provide administrative assistance to the VP of Sales & Marketing and assist in preparing our marketing team for success. 

 

Responsibilities

Execute the process of producer appointment, including but not limited to, processing new producer paperwork, ordering appropriate background checks, appointment of producer in applicable state(s), and maintaining records of all appointments. Setting up each producer in administration system. Organizing and distributing producers’ Welcome packets and marketing materials. Unappointing agents as needed.

 

Input and administer producer commission schedules in CELIC’s Administration System.

 

Maintain and organize producer files and proper state license.

 

Qualifications



Required:

  • Associate degree in business or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum two years of experience working in a professional office environment required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education required.
