Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84119

Schedule: 4 days a week onsite, 1 remote – Up to 40% travel required

Salary: $125,000 - 140,000 + 15% bonus

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-10+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience
• Strong Aerospace & Defense industry knowledge
• Proven track record of winning and managing complex A&D programs or government/defense contracts.
• Experience working with major aerospace OEMs, defense primes, system integrators, or government procurement agencies

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking to hire an Aerospace and Defense Business Development Manager for one of our largest manufacturing clients. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth in the A&D sector by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with customers, and securing contracts with OEMs, suppliers, defense primes, and government agencies. This role combines market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning with hands-on customer engagement to expand the company’s presence in the market. The individual collaborates closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to develop and execute growth strategies, ensure customer satisfaction, and support both existing and new programs. They also act as a technical resource, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation, new products, and global expansion, ultimately contributing to long-term business growth and the development of new markets and technologies. This position requires 25-40% travel, mostly domestically with occasional international travel.
