Position Summary

The PMO Business Analyst will support the Project Management Office in driving strategic initiatives, governance, and execution excellence across Latin America. Based in Miami, this role acts as a key liaison between regional stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to ensure consistent project delivery, financial tracking, and alignment with business objectives. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, structured thinking, and the ability to operate in a multicultural and matrixed environment across multiple countries in LATAM. Up to 25% travel is required to support regional operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & PMO Support

  • Support the implementation and adherence of PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices across LATAM.
  • Assist in maintaining project governance frameworks, templates, and reporting structures.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.

Business Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across Latin America.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Support process mapping, gap analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
  • Consolidate project status updates across countries and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor project financials including budgets, forecasts, and actuals in coordination with Finance.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between regional teams, PMO leadership, and functional departments.
  • Facilitate communication across diverse stakeholders in different LATAM countries.
  • Support coordination of meetings, workshops, and governance forums.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements in project execution and PMO processes.
  • Support standardization of tools, templates, and reporting across the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Economy, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in PMO, Business Analysis, or Project Management roles.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and governance frameworks.
  • Experience working in multi-country or regional (LATAM) environments is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
