Job Description:
The Building Maintenance Assistant supports the bag room operation and assists mechanics in facility maintenance. Responsible for preventing and clearing bag jams within the baggage handling system, and accurately sorting bags from the manual encode station. Also responsible for keeping the bag room clean, including but not limited to: trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Physical work requirements and work conditions:
Minimum required- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 20 ft ladders.
Position requires frequent climbing, bending, and lifting.
Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process.
