Bridge Project Manager
Seeking a Bridge Department Project Manager responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of state and local bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical proposals for bridge projects
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and structural plans
- Manage multiple bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects while maintaining deadlines and priorities
- Coordinate with engineers, CAD designers, sub-consultants, and internal departments
- Mentor junior engineers and support staff
- Conduct client meetings to assess project needs and provide technical recommendations
- Perform onsite bridge inspections and evaluate structural conditions with repair or replacement guidance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 4+ years of bridge or transportation engineering experience
- PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
