Job Description

Role: Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 2-7 Years of experience

Location: Hyderabad

Summary

We are seeking a Test Engineer to support large-scale projects. The Engineer is responsible for assisting and driving the automation strategy across complex transformation programs. This role requires expertise in automation engineering and delivering excellence by implementing scalable automation solutions improving quality outcomes and accelerating time to market across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate in defining automation roadmap and strategy aligned to objectives within the project portfolio.
• Assist in designing enterprise grade automation frameworks for projects.
• Support in creating automation technical guidance to conduct code reviews and ensure automation engineering best practices.
• Assist in automation planning, estimation prioritization, and reporting across project delivery cycles.
• Assist in establishing automation standards templates, reusable libraries, version control practices and continuous improvement models.
• Integrate automation suites into CICD pipelines and ensure continuous validation practices.
  
  

Skills

• Proven experience working on large-scale system migrations or platform transformations.
• 2-6 years of experience in automation Quality Engineering.
• Expertise in Selenium/Katalon/Tricentis, Java or Python TestNG or JUnit and design custom frameworks.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of API test automation, Rest Assured or similar tools.
• Working experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps Git and pipeline configuration.
• Ability to architect frameworks using Page Object Model data driven hybrid and service level automation patterns.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC STLC Agile DevOps and modern delivery practices.
  
  

Must Have:

• Hands on experience to automation tools and frameworks.
• Prior experience working within a large organization with multiple releases in a year.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• SAP/ERP/Sales Force implementations.
• Performance Testing.
  
  

Education / Professional Experience/ Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in software testing/automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
