Client Details

My general contractor partner is a top commercial builder in the Indianapolis market with an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects extending through 2029, supported by an impressive 80% repeat client base. They are well known for exceptional client relationships and strong training programs, and are seeking eager Project Engineers who are ready to grow into Assistant Project Manager roles while supporting Project Managers on projects throughout the Indy area.

Description

  • Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of construction projects
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
  • Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
  • Coordinate communication between the design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
  • Assist with quality control, safety compliance, and on-site problem-solving to keep projects running smoothly

Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer with a general contractor
  • Procore Experience
  • Experience with commercial, healthcare, education, or municipal projects
  • Ability to review RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Job Offer

  • Base salary starting at $85,000 + based on experience
